Dear Mr Medawar,

Thank you for your letter of 25 February about MCA/CSM consideration of possible impacts resulting from a change in the law that now prohibits the promotion of POM medicines directly to the public. The Agency will consider your request but this will take some time and it will not be possible to provide replies within the 20 days recommended under the Code. A reply will, of course, be sent as soon as possible.
