Dear Mr Medawar,

Thank you for your latest letter of 21 January about the dosage formulations for fluoxetine. I have, of course, no wish to keep you waiting longer than necessary for a reply and I aim to provide that by 9 February. I hope you will by now have received Mr Alder's letter of 24 January which was in reply to your letters of 26 October 1999 and 20 January 2000.

I have sent a copy of your letter and this reply to Mrs Leakey so she can follow up your outstanding correspondence.
