Dear Mr Medawar, 

Thank you for your letter of 26 March which clarifies your request about MCA definitions of commercial confidentiality. I am still awaiting some details from within MCA and will write again on this particular issue as soon as I can.

More generally, I am afraid I am not yet able to reply on all the other points you have raised in your letters of 7 and 10 March to Mr Alder. It does seem to me that some of these are really debating points rather than straightforward requests for information within my understanding of the Code of Practice. Nonetheless, I will let you have a reply as soon as possible, though given the level of detail and with Easter approaching, this may be another couple of weeks yet. I regret any inconvenience this may cause.
