I am enclosing a copy of the letter I have today sent to Claire Rayner. You are probably aware of our previous correspondence. If not, I can fax it to you, or it can be accessed on our website.

If Claire Rayner decides not to respond, perhaps the Association will want to in its own right. In the circumstances, I am all the more anxious to establish where the Patients Association stands on such matters as product endorsement, receipt of money from pharmaceutical companies and direct to consumer advertising.

I would appreciate any information you can provide about the Association's position, and the basis on which its policies have been made. In any case, please could you arrange for me to be sent a copy of your most recent annual report?
