I had a very scary experience w/celexa just the other day. I haven't been taking my celexa due to the fact that my insurance hasn't yet kicked in and my mom forgot to loan me a couple of hers. I was getting ready for work and stood up and got really dizzy. Needless to say I fell and hit my head on the coffee table and apparently I must of injured my arm in the fall because I can hardly move it today. I have dizzy spells a lot, chatter (talk constantly) about nothing, and shake. I also have hot flashes and sweat constantly. I did not realize that all that can happen from not taking the celexa. I have had this happen when I forgot to take a dose but it never lasted long. I have been back on it for 2 days now and I am still very dizzy. The celexa works well for me but I don't like the side effects and I want to switch meds. I never put it together but have slowly gained weight over the 4 years I have been taking it and had a range of other things that occurred too. I thought I was nuts but I guess I'm not alone
