Hi Lorna,

I have been on Cipramil for 2 years, and I have been rediagnosed as having ADD, which is really a more exact diagnoses in my view anyway. I dont get any side effects from Ritalin (and I no longer sleep 16hours a day either). I tried to come off of the Cipramil a month ago and after a week of the most horrific brain shocks, I couldnt stand it any longer and went back on to 20mg (was on 60mg) just to stop the brain shocks. Personally I am hoping that the Ritalin will overide the joys I look forward to in the next fortnight (coming off the Cipramil), but I am aware that there are some kinds of minerals or vitamins that you can take to aid in making the experience less volatile. Only problem is, I can't seem to find any info on what they are. Are you sure that your narcolepsy isn't caused by the Cipramil. Personally, the tiredness never left me for 2 years, but before that I was fine.
