hi. i have been completely med free for 6 months now and during these months i have never been able to figure out whether the constant tears and awful mood swings have been a result of the withdrawl process or a return of the depression. My therapist said that the medication could still be in my system for at least 6 months after withdrawl so i have found a bit of comfort in knowing that things will settle down sometime soon. At this 6 month point i no longer cry several times a day, in fact i barely cry at all, and my moods have certainly become less eratic. I think you will find that the medication will continue to have some effect on you for some time, however, i hope you might have some solice in knowing that this will not last forever. Sometimes i think that the depression is back. I guess it will always be there, but i don't think i will ever turn to medication to combat it again. Good luck x B
