Hello, Jan 5th, 2004 I just read your article about taking or not taking Zanax,its been quit a while since your posting( like 2 years) So maybe you have found something that works for you. I have been taking Zanax (as needed) for about 3 years now, a friend of mine has been on them for 5 years or longer. (just after her son was shot & killed)Causing her to have the same problem as me, "post traumatic stress disorder" my daughter and 2 grandchildren were all killed in a car accident. I have tried to quit taking Zanax too and I have the same reaction that you had, its scary but I feel comforted knowing that I have them if I need them. Its not for everyone, but so far I do not have any side effects that I know of. Good luck Judie - [email protected]
