I was on seroxat for 6 months, only to watch PANORAMA on UK TV and find that the drug itself had been proven to cause agrophobia, now I am a very sociable person and the thought of agrophobia scares me rigid. I was then placed on LUSTRAL and then CIPRALEX............
the withdrawel of these tablets causes those anxiety attacks, and what I am now in the process of doing is in some form trying to gather together a web page which will enable people to find counselling and therapy in their area (or otherwise I would encourage you to do this through your local hospital and thus gain free therapy) and sort through your problems without drugs, the doctors are handing them out like sweets and thankfully I am now free of any anti depressants and it is a great feeling to finally be able to function on my own.
