Hi Clarinda and anyone else reading this. As i mentioned previously i have been off meds for 3 months and am still having dizzy spells and terrible mood swings - although the good days are now certainly outweighing the bad. My body is still obviously reacting to the remaining medication in my system. My immediate reaction when i came off the meds was to take a natural anti-depressant such as 5-HTP or St Johns Wort (which i think I will eventually start taking). These of course have side effects too so it is often difficult to know what is your own behaviour and what is a reaction to the pill. Anyway, over the past couple of months i have been really trying to heal my body and have been taking 6000mg spiralina per day. Spiralina is a blue-green algae that essentially contains all the vitamins and minerals your body requires to function. Instead of taking multiple vitamins I just take these - not the easiest things to swallow but I have really noticed a difference. I really do reccommend spiralina. It is completely natural and as far as i know does not have any side effects. Find a good natural health specialist and do some internet searches. One good website is www.spirulina.org.uk. I hope you are doing okay. Hang in there. B
