I know how difficult withdrawal from SSRI's can be. In my opinion, it can probably take a long time before we are feeling back to normal (whatever that is!) again. I have been completely off of Celexa, after 7 years of meds, for 7 months and I am still experiencing symptoms of withdrawal. I would have WEEKS where I felt a constant 'swaying', off balance feeling. Now the dizziness seems more episodic than constant, but it is still disconcerting because I have been having bouts of dizziness while I am driving! I have also noticed that I have slight tremors in my left hand...something I have never had before. I have had blood work, balance tests, MRI of the brain and those all came up normal. Most doctors don't want to say that withdrawal can last for months after stopping, and sometimes symptoms won't start to show up until a few months after discontinuing meds. All I can offer is to hang in there....it does get better. It will probably take our bodies a while to repair and adjust after so many years of antidepressant use. I have more better days lately and each 'relapse' of dizziness seems to be shorter in duration. Best of luck to you. Suzanne
