I wrote previously that I started taking Cipramil and felt OK - although a bit "out of it" feeling that my head didn't really belong to me,,,,However since then (I was only on Cipramil for 3 weeks) I decided to quit cold turkey seeing as I was only taking them a short time. I guess as that is the case I have had no withdrawal symptoms at all,,,,I guess the Cipramil was not really in my system after only 3 weeks. I have suffered with panic disorder for many many years and the only thing that really made me feel good was taking Xanax,,,,I have read recently that taking anti-depressants can actually make panics worse! I don't really consider myself depressed and I think now it was a mistake to start taking the Cipramil,,,,I will go back to my doctor and ask for Xanax again,,,, I do know that when I am living healthily, doing regular exercise etc,,,the panic attacks are very much less. And I think that the fact that I'm cutting out caffeine completly from my diet will make a difference. I have read that some people are extrememly sensitive to caffeine and it can cause anxiety.
