I have been on effexor for six months and am trying to come off slowly. All my psychiatrist wants to do is keep increasing my dosage but I am fed up with taking antidepressants that have more side effects than the depression itself. It is now 5.30a.m. and still cant sleep. I keep getting a feeling of an electrical shock in my brain with a sound like an explosion. Is this normal - I dont think so. Please help. Isnt it about time these manufacturers were made to pay for all our suffering!!!!!
