Hi There. KT its unlikely that the shocks will cause damage. The Brain is reacting to chemical changes in the bloodstream. And of course all the nervous system is controlled by electrical impulses from the brain. These sort of things are temporary. Of course the long term effects of any drug are a bit of a lottery. Best bet- use the time on them, to change the factors that got you in the mess in the first place (tablets are NOT a cure) Then get off them, and live your life. Cheers! George.
