I was on Paxil when I got pregnant with my 4th daughter. The psychiatrist I was seeing told me to stop taking it immediately....what a nightmare. The OB said that it was safe to go back on it so I did. My daughter was born with an enlarged liver and spleen, as well as maconium poisoning. After a battery of tests there was never any explanation as to WHY. Well, 6 years later look at what they are saying concerning SSRI antidepresaants and liver function/problems! Makes me so angry and I still worry about possible long term effects...so far she is bright and healthy, though. So, I think it is very possible that Seroxat/Paxil may have contributed to any difficulties your kids are experiencing. I look at myself and what I am going through after 7 years of antidepressant use. I have been off for almost 6 months and am still suffering physical side effects!
