I was prescribed this drug earlier tis year 2003 and all it did to me, was gradually reduce all my energy untill all I culd do was stay in bed all day trying to sleep. This condition prevaled until after afew months was almost totally useless to me or anyone else.
I decided at this point to reduce my dosage. The effect was I felt a whole lot better and decide dt odrp another 75Mgs. I felt even better.
In fact I was doing great until I finally stopped taking the drug with my dosage being 37.5 Mgs daily.
From that day on till now almost a week later I am nauseated, irritable, I have what I call brain short circuits, dizziness and very violent physical and mental experiences whilst trying to go to sllep at night. Not thoughts of violense, but what seems to me to be a violent brain short circuit that precipitates past memories that I had forgotten about and strange associations with music and other things.
I would be most interested in hearing from others with similar experiences.
I have not had thoughts of suicide or similar just this brain experience, diziness nausea etc. This so far has not improved with time.
I was prescribed this drug for mild seasonal affective disorder and I belive this so called antidepressant has actually cause more dpression than I had prevously
