You've been put onto something which is just as likely to give you the same effects - ALL the ssris can cause any of these effects. Just because seroxat had a bad press the others are no better. Sorry if this is a bit harsh, but theres no point you thinking that cipramil is any better. I am 8 months into withdrawal from it and still quite ill. Although of course some of them are not so bad for different people, but perhaps you should think about some extremely slow withdrawal.

Did you see the panorama programme on seroxat - the woman on that took a full year to reduce her seroxat dose slowly to minimise the withdrawal effects. If you are in the uk there is an organisation called CITA who can give you some informed advice 0151 932 0102 (rather than my own personal anti cipramil rant). Give them a call, keep trying if they're engaged - I'm sure they'll help. All the best of luck.
