I am trying to stop Effexor. I was on 300mg a day taking 2 150mgs, I cut my dose in half for a month and for the past few days I haven't taken any. I'm going to have to start back on half dose till I can get the doctor to give me a lower mg pill to taper off slower. My brain feel like it is shuttering, I am sweating uncontrolable and swelling. Do to the pain, sweating and swelling I am swimming and doing water exercise for an hour and a half everyday. This is bad I've been on Effexor for 5 years, it has taken all my drive, ambition and motivation I have been just existing, I have wasted so much of my life on this drug, I can't get the time or years back that I lost but I'm going to try very hard to have a future.
