Cominf off seroxat is a difficult task, but it can be done as ive done it before. I took Seroxat 5 years ago following the birth of my child, took it for about 18months and came off it without any problems. However this time has been a little harder, been on it for a full year and after discussion with my G.P decided to come off it. Gradually reduced dose over a period of 4-6weeks, first couple of days after finishing last dose i felt fine, withdrawal started kicking in on day 3 feeling very dizzy and lethargic. These symptoms hightened on day 4 and 5 anf felt ill and irratable, also experiencing insomnia and delyed co-ordination. Despite feeling irratable i feel mentally ok and hoping these effects will pass on day 7 now still experiencing problems but they are no worse so thats a good sign! Cant understand this as i had no probs the last time. Anyone been through similar experiences id be glad of the reassurance that it is only temperary.
