I just went to my doctor today who said he wants to take me off of Premarin. He suggested that I go on Effexor to offset crankiness that I may have after going off HRT. I wasn't too crazy about going on an anti-depressant as I am a typically happy person. I thought I would do some research on this drug and I found this site. Thank you all for sharing your information. On my next doctor's visit if he metions this drug to me again I will say "NO WAY!"
