I have been on AROPAX for 7 years (don't freak out!!!) I know it is a long time and I had to take Aropax after I suffered Post Natal Depression after my son was born. I have tried on more than 2 or 3 occassions to get off Aropax and have found it really really hard, with dizzy spells, electric shocks etc. My doctor is now kinda begging me to go to "withdrawal" (sounds like I am a major addict or something), and I am trying and on half a tablet a day.

Can anyone give me any hope as to how long it may take me to finally get off these pills and how do you try and cope with the side effects when withdrawing when you have a full time job and a home and child to manage!!

I know that a lot of people in Aust have been prescribed this drug as that is where I first started to us it.

Thanks a million, and living in hope!
