I have been on Effexor XR for approximately 2 months. While I was pleased with the effects of the drug, the withdrawl is the worst thing I've ever gone through. While tapering the drug, I felt no adverse effects. Yesterday was my first day with no dose (37.5), I could barely function. The dizziness alone almost did me in. Today, I woke up feeling just awful, so broke down and took another dose, I have to get through the working day....the dizziness, nausea, strange electical impulses....how long will this last? I can't carry on like this....
