I took the tablet form for 8 years and never had a problem with drawing. I could just stop anytime and no side effects took place. But, when I started taking the capsule it was a whole different story. I could not go a couple of days without serious side effects. Thank-god I did get off of it and am not having the problems other people in this forum have had. I've since noticed that all the headaches I use to have and the sinus infections have completely gone away. I took effexor mainly for anxiety. I started on Prozac three weeks after cutting down my dosage of Effexor from 75 m. The day I started Prozac the withdawing symptoms I was still experiencing even though I was taking a small dosage went completly away. I'm not saying I don't like Effexor. it helped me through some pretty rough times, however If I had to do it over again I would have tried something else.
