Quit Prozac/Fluoxetine 8 weeks ago after taking them for 2.5 years. When I 1st quit, I was crying all the time and had quite a few horrifying panic attacks but the crying seems to have stopped (although I still get occasional panic attacks with all the creepy thoughts and the old 'shaky hand' syndrome). I'm not on any meds at the moment but have a sense of pointlessness/depersonalization (plus a massive fear of recurring panic attacks & bad thoughts)and am not sure if it's related to withdrawal or if it's all psychological, with me expecting a massive withdrawal syndrome. How long, on average, should it take to quit Prozac after such a long period?? Has anyone else suffered badly in the aftermath or has anyone got off them without any probs at all?
