I don't know if it's generally known, but many of these drugs are prescribed also for CHRONIC PAIN, rather than for depressive ilness. I fell into this category, and I have only just realised that I never had ANY depressive episodes before then. In my case, the supposed cure of one ailment may well have been the CAUSE of another! Has anyone else been prescribed these drugs for pain? It would be interesting to know how many people in this category end up hooked; (I used this word for legal reasons since, as we ALL know, they are NOT addictive!!!).
