I also am weaning off of Effexor--previous attempts caused the same feelings you are having and worse . Though I am down to like 37 mg now (1/2 tab)-- I was originally taking 225 mg I have found that weaning down by 1/4 of the tablet at a time works a lot better. I don't cut it again for at least 10-14 days. This has worked wonderfully for me. Terri
