Hi Steve....

Well done with regards to coming off Cipramil! I am withdrawing again for the 3rd time and however I end up feeling I am not going to take another anti depressant drug! Before Cipramil I was on Dothiepin and ended up on the maximum safe dose I could take of it. It made me sleep for 15 hours a day and I was a total zombie. My advise would be to steer clear of them and give your body/mind a chance to settle. I have read of many people withdrawing from Cipramil experiencing exactly the same symptoms as you describe, I am also starting to feel exhausted all the time and strangely "zingy" in the head but am going to continue as I know those feelings do pass in time! I did find that anxiety levels for me were a lot worse initially when starting to taper off Cipramil but that too seems to settle in time and becomes more manageable. I would says keep going, 5 weeks isn't that long and things will start to get better. People on here have mentioned time scales of 6 months or more but for me it was around 2 (last time).

Hope this helps!

Mark.
