My god Jane you took Seroxat for 10 years???

In answer to your question about exhaustion. I have been on Cipramil for roughly 3 years. I have withdrawn from them twice and am trying to do so again now. The first time I ever took the pill I had energy, I felt great, life was good. I decided to come off the pill seeing as it had done its job and dropped back to feeling as bad if not worse before them. I went back on them again but this time the affects were not so good. After taking the pill I would feel exhausted and would have zero ability to concentrate for a fair few hours after. I only stayed on them for about six months that time and started to withdraw again as I didn't feel that I was benefitting from them. I managed to last for 4 months off the pills before feeling too ill to cope again and my GP put me back on the same pill once again. This time I felt worse for going on it, unable to sleep at all, exhausted beyond belief (maybe related to lack of sleep), permanently lethargic etc... My GP decided to double my dose which completely zombified me, I don't know if exhaustion would be the right description or "bodily numb"... I am currently withdrawing from them again after only 5 months alternating between 20mg and 10mg every other day, then to 10mg every day and so on. Today I woke up after 7 hours sleep, I had been up for 2 hours and took my 20mg pill and it knocked me for six, I feel exhausted to the point of being completely numb and staring at the wall is very comforting right now. So in this very long winded reply to your question, yes these damn pills do appear to cause exhaustion....
